Approximately 20 years ago Pete Nash pursued franchise ownership. His journey has included successfully owning five franchises as well as consulting and coaching over a 1000 clients. After experiencing virtually all areas of franchise ownership Mr. Nash uses his background to help others explore owning their own business. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, he spent 25 years in the medical device industry working his way up to upper management. In the late 1990s he started his search for his first franchise and moved his family to Charlotte, North Carolina to open up an Accountant’s Inc. franchise. As the owner of Accountant’s Inc. Mr. Nash won numerous awards including two Franchise of The Year Awards, Leadership Awards and was nominated for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Nash was also recognized by the Department of Defense for his company’s support of military personnel. In 2001 he sold his Accountant’s Inc. Franchise.

In 2001 Mr. Nash bought a 1000 Points of Knowledge franchise where he was an Area Developer in Charlotte, North Carolina. He sold his franchise in 2003. Mr. Nash then bought a TES franchise where he became a successful franchise business coach. Mr. Nash was one of the top coaches and became an Inaugural TES Ambassador as well as winning various other awards. He sold his TES practice in 2013. Mr. Nash was awarded a Sport Clips franchise in 2005 and enjoyed significant success in turning around previously unsuccessful stores. Mr. Nash sold his Sport Clips in 2013 and bought The Exercise Coach franchise where he was a Multiple Territory Owner. In 2014 he was approached by a large corporation and sold his franchise.

Mr. Nash has also done development work for large, national franchisors. His experience in franchising includes ownership, coaching, consulting and development work with franchisors. He has owned and operated single unit franchises, multiple unit franchises and been a Regional Developer. His experience with all facets of franchising including owner/operated franchises, multiple unit franchise, passive
franchises and successfully buying and selling franchises has led him to share his successful experiences and help those who are exploring franchise ownership. Mr. Nash lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
